Let’s Be Friends!

Help build a strong Arts Community by becoming a Friend of Critical Mass. When you become a friend, you support our mission to harness the power of contemporary art to build a vibrant and more inclusive community.

We’re predominantly a volunteer-led organization. We receive some foundational funding from the Municipality of Port Hope, however, our projects are funded primarily by arts project grants, sponsorships from local businesses, donations, and memberships!

By becoming a friend of Critical Mass, your support has an immediate impact – your membership fees help us “keep the lights on” at the Little Station. Any remaining funds and donations help us to hire professional artists and facilitators to bring free and inclusive art experiences to our community.

Critical Mass Friends get early notifications about our upcoming art happenings, events, and artist talks.

We currently offer three types of memberships:

How many tickets do you need for your household or business?

Your name will be on our guest list at the sign in / registration booth at the Goose Ball on Saturday, May 30th! Fall Fair Centre (62 McCaul St, Port Hope, ON).

We'd love to know a bit more about your interests! Tell us what kind of art you find interesting? or... What types of art experiences would you like to see us bring to the community?

Do you have any interests in volunteering with us? If so, let us know what type of volunteer role would be a good fit for you and we will let you know about upcoming opportunities.

Goose Ball Tickets are included with Memberships!

This year, we are bringing back a special BONUS for renewing and new members!

Individual Membership holders will receive 1 free ticket to the Goose Ball on the last Saturday of May, and
Household Membership holders will receive up to 5 free tickets
(if you need additional tickets for your household, let us know, there will be an additional $5 charge per ticket).
Business Members will receive up to 10 free tickets for staff to attend.

As a member, your name will automatically be on the Goose Ball guest list, just provide your name at check in. However, if you would like a ticket in hand, you can reserve your Goose Ball tickets here.
