Eligibility
- Open to all Canadian artists, 18 years or older
- Submitted post-it notes must be original works created by the artist
Submission:
- All participating artists must complete the Google Form prior to sending your post-it notes
- All post-it notes must be received at the Little Station by August 4, 2025
- If mailing in by letter mail, please print, fill out, and send the submission intake form with your artwork Mail in work to this address:

About this Project
Post-It Port Hope Exhibition + Sale invites Canadian artists to ditch the expensive canvas and paper and instead create a unique piece of artwork on a post-it note! All mediums are welcome (e.g painting, printmaking, drawing, collage, cyanotype, etc.) All work must be created on a post-it note that is 3 x 3 inches. Artists are invited to submit as many sticky notes as they would like.
Sales
- All post-it notes will be for sale for $25
- $20 will go directly to the artist and $5 will go to Critical Mass to cover administration costs and e-transfer fees
- Artists will be paid within 2 weeks of sale via e-transfer (CAD) (alternative methods may be arranged)
- Any work not sold will be shipped back to the artist via Canada Post Lettermail
Licensing & Usage Rights
By submitting, artists grant Critical Mass a non-exclusive license to:
- Sell the selected works as part of this exhibition.
- Promote the work and exhibition on the Critical Mass website, social media, newsletters, and any relevant marketing. Artists will be credited with links to their social media (where applicable).

FAQ’s
Does it matter what colour Post-it note I use?
- No, artists are encouraged to use any colour post-it note they would like, as long as it meets the size requirement of 3 x 3 inches. You may also use post-it notes that don’t have the adhesive on the back if you would like.
What if my post-it note doesn’t sell?
- If your work does not sell, it will be sent back to the address provided in the Google Form via Canada Post Lettermail.
How many Post-it notes can I submit?
- Artists are welcome to submit as many post-it notes as they would like.
