Sound Art Sundays

Follow Critical Mass Art every Sunday (for the next little while) on Instagram and Facebook as we explore the medium of sound art. We’ll cover some ‘edutaining’ art history soundbites, prompt you to do some sound activities at home, and introduce you to the artists and work happening behind the scenes of an exciting sound art project we are currently developing for a mobile app.

Follow us on Instagram or Facebook every Sunday!

WHY?

Critical Mass: A Centre for Contemporary Art is currently developing a Port Hope SoundWalks Art APP, made possible with funding from Ontario Trillium Foundation. The app will launch by Fall 2021 and the community will be invited to download the app to experience and explore contemporary sound art walks around Port Hope directly on their phones.

APP NAMING CONTEST

Deadline Extended 1 week! We will announce the selected APP Name on Sunday, June 6th.
